Our take
If you come across Little Darlings in the wild it means you made a wrong turn somewhere.
Or maybe this is exactly where you intended to be, browsing AI action figures drenched in meta-irony. Take a look and decide for yourself:
This is hustle culture as imagined by someone whoās had one too many 4lokos. Itās G.I. Joe if he spent most of his time selling online courses. And itās probably indecipherable to anyone who regularly touches grass.
Yet, itās not excessively heavy-handed in its terminally online hieroglyphics either. You could say it falls into that Goldilocks porridge zone of schizo humor, although I do feel that they held their punches back a little bit on the captions and wish they had gone somewhat harder.
The team behind Little Darlings is seasoned in memecrafting and previously launched several other collections including:
Fake it till you make it (an Art Blocks favorite)
Sacra Famiglia (which we covered here)
Ugly Bitches (the prequel to Little Darlings)
ALLSTARZ (a personal favorite)
Institutions have noticed, and the team is giving a presentation on Little Darlings and Ugly Bitches at the Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA) in LA on Thursday.
Youāll also be able to buy this cursed plushie, if you want:

A Day In The Life by Guido Di Salle
Photographer Guido Di Salle has reimagined past works by feeding them into his custom-trained AI and then curating the results to create A Day In The Life.
This is Di Salleās first AI-assisted release but not his first NFT rodeo ā the photographerās risquĆ© creations have found homes in the wallets of many of the most notable collectors.
As post-photography as it gets.
NonceStratum by Zeblocks
Another Ordinals debut is on the horizon as generative art duo Zeblocks prepare to drop NonceStratum.
Each piece depicts lights at the end of geometric lightspeed tunnels, appealing to the more cosmically inclined collector.
NonceStratum also serves as a proof of concept for the artistsā new backend system for generative art on Bitcoin. Details on this are limited, but it sounds compelling enough for me to haveā¦

Artifakt by medusa
The Vivid art platform seeks to continue its string of sellouts on Bitcoin as it gears up for Artifakt, its next release by Spanish creative coder medusa.
Itās the artistās second drop on the platform following last Augustās Rising Echoes. And heās bringing it back to generative art fundamentals, showcasing abstract geometric pieces.
One for the old-school type of collector.
